According to IEC regulations, high-temperature cables are cables that can operate normally at temperatures of 180°C and above.

The high-temperature cable is generally composed of several layers. It depends on the actual requirements. There are also two layers. The layers 5 and 6 are not unusual. The following describes the four-layer high-temperature cable structure.

1 Jacket layer: excellent mechanical properties, able to withstand the impact of high-strength metal, cutting, with a very high tensile strength, but also can withstand long-term repeated bending.

2 Shielding: Exquisite metal materials must be able to derive interference signals on the one hand, and ultra-fine wires must have sufficient resistance to bending to prevent metal debris from affecting other electrical equipment.

3 Wrapping layer: Wrapping tape is a kind of selected polymer material, mainly to prevent the mesh damage and insulation layer. It also enhances the overall mechanical properties of the cable.

4 Insulation: Has the same physical and chemical properties as the cable jacket. The oil resistance and temperature are the same as the jacket layer. Therefore, sometimes in the narrow environment, the jacket, shielding mesh and winding layer are removed and used alone as the wire.

High temperature resistant cable has excellent corrosion resistance, oil resistance, strong acid resistance, strong alkali, etc.; has excellent electrical insulation properties, high temperature resistance, low frequency loss, no moisture absorption, high insulation resistance; excellent flame retardant, anti-aging Performance, long service life.

Use characteristics

1. AC rated voltage: U0/U 0.6/1KV

2. Maximum working temperature: Polyfluoroethylene (F46) insulation does not exceed 200°C / Soluble polytetrafluoroethylene (PFA) insulation does not exceed 260°C

3. Minimum ambient temperature: fluoroplastic insulation and sheathing/fixed laying -40°C, non-fixed laying -15°C

4. The cable installation temperature should not be lower than 0°C (fluoroplastic, silicone rubber sheathed cable is not lower than -25°C).

5. The allowable bending radius of the cable: the minimum value of the single-core cable is 15 times the cable diameter/the minimum number of the multi-core cable is 10 times the cable diameter
