In the past few days, the monitor's choices range from 4K, 5K, and even 8K. We also saw how the monitors have come a long way. They are very thin and have an almost baffled free design. However, it is likely to change in the future. Now is a floating display for solving and designing?
Recently, researchers at the University of Bristol have created a display that can be suspended in the air and actually float to the power of using ultrasound. The researchers' video above shows how their technology can be suspended by using tiny polystyrene beads, for the placement of the speakers above and below them, with each bead sitting on the ultrasound port.

By adjusting the sound, it will cause the bead to move and change its position. Then, the researchers tried to draw on the side of the black beads, coated them with titanium dioxide, and the end result was that the directions could be changed to show different colors (in this case, black or white) beads.
Of course this is not exactly a very high resolution monitor because it is made of beads in a 6 x 7 grid, but it is an interesting development. Some potential uses in business or travel settings have been suggested.
