According to foreign media news, the Romanian government revealed in an e-mail that the Bosch Group is currently considering investing 77 million euros (approximately US$ 101 million) to build a new plant in Romania.
It is reported that Bosch Romania's new plant will be built near Cluj-Napoca and the Romanian government will provide government assistance when Bosch raises funds to build a factory.
After meeting with representatives of the Bosch Group, Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc stated that the government supports all investments that are beneficial to the region.
A spokesperson for the Bosch Group declined to provide details on the project to build a new plant in Romania. It said only that the negotiations with the Romanian government have not yet come to an end.
