Italian tire company Pirelli has announced that the company will invest 300 million euros in China in the next three years. It is reported that part of this fund will be used to increase the capacity of its factory in Jining, Shandong Province. Pirelli’s chairman Marco Tronchetti Provera stated that in the next two years, Pirelli plans to increase the annual production capacity of its tires at the Jining plant to 10 million, which is about twice the company’s current production capacity.
