1 Introduction

Anshan Iron and Steel Company is a state-owned large-scale iron and steel company. It has undergone continuous technological transformation and technological innovation. Since 2002, it has carried out a comprehensive transformation of its subsidiary ironmaking plants to build new 1#, new 2#, and new 3# blast furnaces. At the same time, the 7# blast furnace was reformed. In the four blast furnace slag blasting, blast furnace coke blasting, ore coke tanks, torpedo tank transport of molten steel and molten steel, the main equipment used Emerson CT TD2000, EV2000, TD3000, TD3500 series inverter, Emerson CT inverter became The main brand of Angang Ironmaking Plant.

2 Slag treatment system drum device frequency converter application

2.1 About the drum process

The No. 1 blast furnace of Angang Ironmaking Plant is the first new blast furnace in the transformation project of Ironmaking Plant. The designed effective volume of blast furnace is 3,200 cubic meters, and 7,500 tons of iron is produced daily. It is the largest volume and most advanced technology in Angang and even in China. One of the large blast furnaces. The new 1# blast furnace water slag treatment system is the introduction of Luxembourg's "Imba" water slag treatment process. Use networked control. Emerson CT frequency converters are used in a total of 48 sets of drum devices, granulation return pumps and slurry pump motors in the retrofit system. The drum device has a set of a drum drive and a drum support. The drum support can be flipped and rotated on the flip support. The fulcrum of the drum is different from the fulcrum of the drum support by 90°. The drum support and flip support are mutually interchanged. Do not interfere, and can automatically install and unload materials. An electric push rod is connected between the drum body and the bracket, and the counter is connected at the motor drive device coupling. Use the counter to send a feedback signal to the PLC. The drum support and tilting support can be continuously operated and discharged automatically to realize automatic online operation. With the help of the centrifugal force of the screen rotation, under a relatively low water resistance, the flow velocity is high, and the particles of the residue are retained and solidified. The purpose of separation of the liquid two phases greatly reduces the labor intensity of workers. The observation port is provided on the drum body and the operation can be observed at any time. In the production process of blast furnace ironmaking, the output of the slag is very random, which leads to an increase in the fluctuation of the amount of water slag flowing into the drum, and the output torque of the drum motor greatly changes. TD3000 frequency converter accurate and fast dynamic response, can adjust the output torque in time, feedback the torque signal to the PLC system, change the motor speed in time, respond to the fluctuation of the amount of water slag flowing into the drum, thus ensuring the drum device in the blast furnace Ironmaking can be operated stably during the entire slag removal process.

2.2 Drum device inverter application design

The electrical control of the entire water slag treatment system is implemented using DCS control. TD3000 frequency converter has fast torque response, precise control, strong overload capacity and wide range of speed control operation. It is used in the main drive of the drum device in the water slag treatment system. The drum device adopts 30KW variable frequency motor and configures TD3000-4T0450G high performance vector type inverter. The system control method is shown in Figure 1.

3 320 tons of mixed iron vehicle inverter application

3.1 Steel Tanker Drive System Design

Iron tank trucks, steel tank trucks, torpedo tank mixers, slag tankers, etc. are important equipments for the steelmaking system. In the process of pouring molten steel, the performance requirements of the drive motors of the inverter are very high. The project selected Emerson CT frequency converter 4 EV2000-4T0750G, EV2000-4T0550G and the master controller and PLC combined to achieve manual and automatic control. Embodies the accurate control of Emerson CT frequency converters and the performance of high-performance stable operation. The control scheme for the molten steel of the torpedo-mixed iron vehicle adopts Emerson CT EV2000 frequency converter for speed control. The system is equipped with 2 sets of automatic units and automatic resistance, and the energy consumption is automatically controlled. When the molten steel is dumped, the motor runs in the electric state. When the molten steel is poured and turned over to the original position, the motor runs in the reverse direction in the power generation state. The automatic resistance consumes excess energy generated when the motor runs in reverse. The torpedo tanker is an important transportation equipment for the steelmaking system, and the system adopts a one-for-one backup control scheme for alternate operation. Due to the presence of more dust and heat on the site, molten steel splashes may also occur. It is not suitable for the application of PLC independent control. At the end, it adopts a combination of PLC and intelligent master controller and on-site operation box. The status of the torpedo tanker is monitored by the PLC and an allow command is issued to control the speed of the molten steel of the torpedo tanker and the angle of the tank torsion through the actual observation of the site and adjust in time. 320 tons of mixed iron mixer inverter mixer configuration as shown in Table 1.

3.2 Inverter Drive System Design

When the torpedo tank dumps molten steel, the maximum inclination angle is 1200. In the start and stop intervals, the frequency converter drives the motor to accurately control the position of the tank operation, and at the same time, the overload capacity of the frequency inverter is required to be extremely strong. Inverter EV2000-4T0750G allows overload of 150% of rated current for 1 minute and 200% of rated current of 0.5 seconds. 4 speed configuration drives torpedo tanks to turn over, and the maximum operating frequency is 30HZ; during torpedo tank inversion, accurate alignment of tank ports should be ensured. When the starting speed is not higher than 10HZ, to prevent the tank due to the start-up speed is too fast to cause the reversal of the rattle or motor stall; consider the mechanical limit of the can body and the electrical interlock, to prevent the occurrence of malfunction.

Speed ​​matching: forward - low speed - high speed - low speed - stop - backward - low speed - high speed - low speed - stop. Speed ​​matching process Frequency control control principle shown in Figure 2.

When the mixed iron stove is used for hot metal, the distance from the iron water tank mouth to the iron receiving port (groove) of the mixed iron furnace should be kept at a certain distance; the mixed iron furnace should not be over-loaded; when the molten iron surface is 0.4m away from the burner, it should not be added Molten iron; When iron is blown out of the iron mixer, audible signals shall be sent out; when the iron-mixing furnace is repaired or the furnace top is occupied or the iron ladle tanker is not in place, it shall not tilt; when the cooling water leaks into the mixed-iron furnace, it shall be treated with water. After evaporation is complete, the furnace can be tilted. When a mixed iron vehicle is poured into a tank, it shall ensure that the iron mixer and the iron tanker in the receiving pit are accurately aligned; after the iron mixer has cast iron to the required quantity and returns to zero, the iron tanker can go to the hanging station. .

4 heating furnace working area roller converter application

Heating furnace work area roller drive process: loading roller - feeding pusher - pushing steel into the furnace - heating furnace heating - tapping machine - out of the roller.

4.1 Roller Drive Solution

The whole process flow adopts the sequential start operation sequence. The upper computer adopts the PROFIBUS-DP bus to control the frequency converter, and the SM-PROFIBUS-DP bus and the bus adapter TDS-PA01 control the frequency converter to precisely control the rotation speed of the motor. The PROFIBUS-DP bus reads the "status word" of the TD3000 inverter to adjust the sending of the "control word" so that the loading raceway and the discharge raceway can be operated synchronously and sequentially, as shown in FIG. 3 .

4.2 Multi-motor Synchronous Drive System Configuration

The roller conveyor is a linkage conveying device that transports the billet to the heating furnace and sends the billet out. The Emerson CT TD3000 series inverter is used to drive multiple motors simultaneously and work synchronously to verify the accuracy of the vector control and control via the PROFIBUS-DP bus. The furnace preheats the billet and achieves uniform heating. Improve the effect of heat treatment and improve product quality. After the annealing (normalizing) to improve the surface heating, the structure and accuracy are uniform, the microstructure of the steel is improved during the heating process, and the quality of the billet is optimized. Table 2 shows the configuration of the roller conveyor in the furnace work area. Emerson CT frequency converter applies 6 sets of EV2000-4T2800 frequency converters in the transformation of the rolling mill emulsion unit of No. 1 and No. 3 production lines of Angang New Cold Rolling Line.
