Weichai NVH engineer Tian Xinwei and several colleagues participated in the WP3 NVH performance optimization process. In addition, WP3 has an "exclusive design" that fully guarantees its comfort. Han Jingfeng’s engineer said that WP3 is the first light commercial diesel engine to use a “secondary balancing mechanism”.

What is the magical effect of the secondary balance mechanism? The engineer has made a professional interpretation. The secondary balancing mechanism in the WP3 engine adopts the principle of balance shaft to solve the engine vibration problem. Balance shaft, a shaft equipped with an eccentric weight and rotating synchronously with the crankshaft, uses the reverse vibration force generated by the eccentric weight, so that the engine achieves a good balance effect and reduces the engine vibration amplitude.

The structure of the balance shaft is more complicated and costly, and it is more commonly used in large-displacement vehicles. The WP3 engine is capable of adopting a secondary balancing mechanism, which shows that the development team has given WP3 high hopes and hopes that WP3 can bring more value driving experience to customers.

At present, the WP3 market is a success story, and engineers are very proud and pleased to see that their own “batch” products are favored by customers.
