Work Precautions

The cable to be repaired must be confirmed during work. The cables to be repaired can be divided into two types:

The cable surface does not expose the cable at the point of failure. For such faulty cables, besides verifying the data and verifying the cable name, it must be identified by a cable identification device so that it can be distinguished from other live electrical cables in operation, especially when there are many cables in the same section. It is especially important to distinguish between cables that need to be repaired and other live cables. At the same time, this can also effectively prevent the cable from being mistaken for the wrong identification of the cable tag, resulting in accidental accidental live cable accidents. Saw cables must have reliable safety protection measures. Before sawing the cable, it must be confirmed that it is a cable that needs to be cut off and that the cable is not energized. Then, it can be worked by grounding the iron core with a wooden handle ( preferably a epoxy handle ) into the cable core. Persons who support wooden handles should wear insulating gloves and stand on insulating mats. Special care should be taken to ensure that the iron brazing is well grounded.

(2) If you need to move cables during work, you should be careful not to be reckless and prevent damage to other running cables. The cable head must be installed according to the process requirements to ensure quality and avoid hidden troubles. After the cable is repaired, the phases of the two ends of the cable should be carefully checked. The original phase mark should be removed first, and then the correct phase mark should be put in order to prevent confusion between the old and the new.
