The Administrative Committee of the Xiamen Free Trade Zone Xiamen Area recently issued a notice, and the district recently launched a pilot project for parallel imported cars. Before September 15th, the district management committee accepted the enterprise application, publicized the list of pilot enterprises before September 30, and announced the list of identified pilot enterprises before October 15.
It is understood that enterprises applying for the pilot business of parallel imported automobiles must meet the following conditions: engage in automobile sales business for more than one year, and pay more than 10 million yuan of paid-in capital; have their own or entrusted third-party guarantees that are compatible with the scale of operation. Sites and facilities with corresponding functions such as vehicle maintenance, parts supply, and information services; self-built or commissioned after-sales service platforms should be filed with the Xiamen District Management Committee; good reputation, experience in procurement channels and automotive sales service industry, in the market There are no records of bad behaviors in the regulatory departments such as supervision, inspection and quarantine, customs, auditing, etc.; registered wholly-owned subsidiaries or holding companies with automobile distribution qualifications in the Xiamen area, which have been identified as distributors for parallel imported automobile pilots. If the enterprise has violated the law or violated the regulations or has no import performance for two consecutive years, the Xiamen District Administrative Committee will cancel its pilot enterprise qualification.
Parallel imported cars refer to cars that are not directly authorized by the brand manufacturer, traders directly purchase from overseas markets, and enter the Chinese market. At present, the Xiamen port does not yet have the auto import qualification. In the next step, Xiamen will communicate with the port with the import qualification of the whole vehicle to facilitate the import of the pilot enterprises. At the same time, the Xiamen area is studying and formulating relevant support measures to encourage the development of parallel car import business.
