As energy demand continues to increase, the worldwide energy crisis is on the rise. With the development of the petroleum industry and the continuous updating of drilling equipment, energy The contradiction between the shortage and the reduction of drilling costs and efficiency in various oilfields has become increasingly prominent.
According to statistics, the fuel consumption of drilling power machinery accounts for more than 20% of drilling costs. Oil drilling is generally in remote areas, transportation is inconvenient, drilling power is difficult to transport diesel, and most oil fields have ready-made natural gas. As power, there is almost no cost, and only need simple treatment to meet the needs of the engine. . Therefore, it is urgent to develop a diesel/natural gas dual-fuel engine suitable for oil drilling rigs. The use of abundant natural gas resources in the oil field instead of diesel as a fuel for power machinery is an effective way to reduce drilling costs and obtain greater economic benefits.
It is understood that CNPC will gradually transform the rigs with conditional application of natural gas engines, replacing diesel engines with dual-fuel engines, and achieving the goal of significantly reducing drilling costs. At the same time, the technology will be further developed to expand the international drilling rig power market after it is stable, mature and reliable. In recent years, the diesel/natural gas dual-fuel engine and its generator set suitable for oil drilling power developed by Jinan Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. (000617), which has always maintained a high level of new product contribution rate, have recently been identified by the China Petroleum System Expert Group. The project has filled the gap of high-power dual-fuel engines for drilling above 1000KW at home and abroad.
