Third, infrared thermometer in the plastic industry In the plastics industry, infrared thermometers are used to prevent products from being contaminated, to measure dynamic objects and to measure high temperature plastics. This build-up, called coking, leads to a higher firing rate in the furnace and also raises the tube temperature. This high temperature condition will reduce the life of the pipe. Fifth, infrared thermometer can also play a preventive maintenance With a portable thermal display system, maintenance personnel can identify potential or existing problems. For example: Overheating of the engine coil windings, plugged cooling fins on the transformer, poor capacitor contact, heat build up in the cylinder head of the compressor.
