First, determine the quality of the instrument
Suspected meter failure, can be judged by the following methods.
(1) Connect the meter to the simulator and observe the change of indication value, such as whether there is drift or not. If the indication is stable, the meter is good.
(2) Replace the spare PCB board, input the original parameters into the new PCB board, and observe the change of the indication value in the same way to judge whether the instrument has any fault.
Second, determine the quality of the sensor
Method for judging the analog sensor (indicating the sensor with LC):
1.Measurement resistance: (382±4)Ω between ±EX (positive and negative excitation), (350±1)Ω between ±Si (positive and negative output), and (380±1)Ω between ±SE , (without power supply).
2. Voltage value measured: ± 0 mV between ±Si.

3. Measure the insulation performance of LC: Place the multimeter on the 20MΩ file, place the rod on the shell or shield wire, and use the other end on any one of {±EX, ±SI, ±SE} if the multimeter displays 1. It shows that the insulation resistance is infinite, LC is good, and vice versa is bad.
4. Observe whether the sealing cap of the LC falls off.
5. Check whether the conductors of the LC are broken or connected.
6. Check whether there is any four-corner error in each corner of the scale. If there is any adjustment, if there are four corner errors after adjustment, replace the LC.
7. Separate the LC of the scale one by one and observe the changes in the indication. For example, the original display drifts, and the current value is stable, indicating that the disconnected LC is damaged.
8. Check if the connector below the LC is broken, if the O-ring is broken, and if the bottom of the PTFE is peeled off.
Digital Sensor Failure Judgment Method (DLC stands for Digital Sensor):
1. When the DLC is not powered and the meter only connects to one DLC, cross over W1, the meter indicates [––], press 991 (acknowledge) to display CELLDI, input the DLC address, display the DLC inner code value, the inner code A small value indicates that the DLC is good, and a large inner code value indicates that it is bad and much larger than the value of the good DLC. (Toledo instrument as an example)
2. A digital scale shows E801-08. Connect DLC1 to DLC4 and DLC5 to DLC8 to show E805-08. When DLC1 to DLC4 are released and DLC5 to DLC8 are connected, E801, 02, 03, 04, and 06 are displayed, and DLC6 is judged to be damaged. Focused on checking DLC6, it was found that the address was lost and returned to normal after re-addressing.
Third, determine the junction box failure
First open the junction box and observe if it is damp. Is there any dirt? If it is damp or there is dirt, use a hair dryer to dry the terminal box. Clean the terminal box with an alcohol swab. After the above processing, it still can not solve the problem, then replace the junction box.
